She and her husband Benji Madden are set celebrate their wedding anniversary on January 5, two years after tying the knot following a 17-day engagement.

And the couple are now said to be in the process of adding an extra dose of joy to their household, after reportedly starting the process to adopt a baby.

A source told Life & Style magazine said of Cameron, 45, and Benji, 38: ‘They want to adopt from within the US and are counting the days. Cameron is very hopeful. Though they are so fulfilled in every way, they feel this would complete their family.’

‘Cameron feels like the timing is right,’ continued the source. ‘She’s been asking friends about adoption and reading parenting books. It’s taking time and they have been so patient, but they are both bursting with excitement.’

The publication quotes the source as saying that the couple have very specific plans, explaining: ‘Cameron and Benji would love a newborn and have both agreed they want a boy, but they of course will be happy with any healthy baby.’

Carrying a glass bottle of water, the There’s Something About Mary star rounded out her simple yet chic ensemble with a pair of silver plimsolls and a red leather purse, while glittering gold disc earrings added an extra touch of glamour to her look.

Shielding her eyes from the abundant sunshine with a pair of oversized sunglasses, the screen beauty let her golden locks flow down her back, while she added a smudge of deep red lipstick to her flattering makeup palette.

In a May 2016 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Cameron said that marrying Benji was ‘the biggest thing I’ve done in my 40s’, adding: ‘It opened me up in different ways.

‘It’s pretty awesome. I didn’t think it was something I’d do, and I don’t know if I’d have done it if I hadn’t met my husband. It was a surprise.’

Benji Madden and Cameron Diaz are suing the firm that remodeled their home in 2015 and 2016 for nearly half a million dollars, calling their work terrible and overpriced.

Madden, a member of the band Good Charlotte, said he had a deal with The Wooden Palate and its co-founder, Ryan Silverman, to remodel parts of the couple’s home. TMZ reports that the firm worked on a spare bedroom, kitchen, laundry, man cave and deck in the Spring 2015.

According to a lawsuit, the work wasn’t finished until October 2016. By that time, the 38-year-old Madden had already spent $478,509 on the remodelling. The job “was done improperly and would have to be redone,” according to the documents obtained by TMZ.

After The Wooden Palate’s work was done, Madden claims he still had to repair doors to a wine cellar and make other fixes. That cost him another $78,000.

Madden is asking for $500,000, plus legal fees.

Madden and Diaz have been married since January 2015, when they tied the knot at his Beverly Hills home.

Cameron Diaz owes a big fat debt of gratitude to a very persistent homeless woman who tried to return her wallet but got blown off by a fancy restaurant … but stayed close by ’til cops arrived.

The actress went to dinner Thursday night in Bev Hills at the super exclusive and insanely expensive Matsuhisa. On her way out, Diaz unwittingly dropped her wallet on the street … cash, credit cards, I.D., the works.

Enter the homeless lady, who saw the wallet on the ground and made the connection that its owner must have dined at Matsuhisa. So, she walked inside — wallet in hand — in search of Cameron. Law enforcement sources tell us someone who works at the restaurant told the homeless lady Cameron had already left … and that was that.

The homeless woman left the restaurant, but instead of pocketing the loot and running … she stuck around.

We’re told someone called police and told them some homeless woman had Cameron Diaz’s wallet. Cops arrived in short order, found the woman, and she was more than happy to turn the wallet over totally intact.
