Disney isn’t the only movie studio shuffling around its release dates. Sony has announced a major shift in the debut of its upcoming comedy, Sex Tape.

The flick, which stars Cameron Diaz, Jason Segel and Jack Black, has been having some production problems in recent weeks. The movie’s title has allegedly been changed from “Sex Tape” to Basic Math, and was recently denied $55,000 from Columbia Pictures. It also was denied a rental request from Parker Middle School in Reading, Mass. due to the sex tape-centric title and plot.

Now “Sex Tape” — or “Basic Math,” if that title sticks — is slated for a July 18 release date instead of its original July 2, 2014 one. In some good news for the movie, Rob Lowe recently joined the cast. Directed by “Bad Teacher’s” Jake Kasdan, Sex Tape tells the story of a married couple (“Bad Teacher” stars Diaz and Segel) who wake up in the morning to discover the sex tape they made has gone missing.
