Cameron Named Artistic Director of Fashion Company “Pour La Victoire”

Cameron Diaz has been named the artistic director at fashion house Pour La Victoire.

The Bad Teacher actress will be responsible for the design and marketing of products, and she will also have a hand in the company’s shoe and handbag collections.

Revealing that Cameron was initially nervous about the project, the actress tells Women’s Wear Daily, “Pour La Victoire gives me the opportunity to create something timeless. There is a lot I have to learn about the business. I am interested in learning how collections are created… I want to say that it is going to be fun, but it os deeper than that.”

Cameron Diaz is not only a spokesperson for PLV, she also owns an undisclosed stake in the brand. Cameron Diaz said, “I do not do endorsements really. This is completely different. Being influential in a brand and in its (advertising) campaigns interests me. I love fashion. It is a large part of my life. What I wear is looked at. It influences what other people wear because that is just the world we live in.”

Diaz her collection will not hit U.S. stores until next spring (14), but she will be sharing her favorite selections as part of the Cameron’s Picks campaign later this year (13). (Source)
