Empire magazine recently listed the 500 Greatest Movies Of All Time, with a special 100 (!) different covers to go with it. Two of Cameron’s many movies made it onto the list. Read more about which ones below.

#469 Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas (1998)
Director: Terry Gilliam
Johnny Depp channels Hunter S. Thompson and consumes inhuman amounts of drugs, while Gilliam shows that the straight, Nixon-voting world outside Thompson’s head – represented by Vegas at its most hideous – is scarcely less insane.

#441 Being John Malkovich (1999)
Director: Spike Jonze
A weird premise, courtesy of screenwriter Charlie Kaufman, is spun into the archetypal ‘quirky’ indie hit, with major stars geeking out, accessible in-jokes and a plot that surprisingly makes sense. Malkovich won major points for caricaturing himself as ‘John Horatio Malkovich’.

Other movies that were included are E.T., Dirty Harry, Fight Club, When Harry Met Sally, The Shining, Some Like it Hot, Casablanca, Gone With the Wind, Grease, Toy Story 2 and The Dark Knight. And that was just to name a few. A big thanks to CD Fan for the heads up.
