The Counselor is Cormac McCarthy’s new screenplay that’s directed by the legendary Ridley Scott and features an all-star cast including Michael Fassbender, Javier Bardem, Brad Pitt, Penelope Cruz and Cameron Diaz. McCarthy is responsible for some stunning books including No Country For Old Men and The Road, both of which have hit the big screen with impressive success and this new one is highly anticipated and featured in our ‘must-see’ films for the Autumn.
In this, his first straight to screen script, the story-line focuses around Fassbender’s character who’s a lawyer and get in too deep with drug trafficking and then, we believe, it all starts to go very wrong. This brand new clip shows Cameron Diaz with cold intent and a dead straight stare. She looks hard and focused here, I’m also glad that the recent clips don’t give too much away but give you a snippet of the world we’re delving into:
